Cotton shirts have great impact on the environment. I reuse and recycle them to reduce that impact.

That cotton shirt is my child's PE uniform in his college years. After using it to dry myself after bath, I used it again to wipe the dust off my bag instead of using a tissue.

Reusing plastic packs from french bread and clothes is one of the things I love to do because I love to protect the environment.I

It is not easy to be plastic free because plastic always goes with the food and clothes. So I decided to wash and reuse them.

This is an old grammar book. I used plastic pack from one of those I usually wash and keep for future use.

I keep the practice of no nail polish to reduce my contribution to trash and chemicals into this Earth.

It's nail cleaning time again at SM City Clark. They offered me their many bottles of nail polish of local and imported brands. I need nail cleaning but nail polish is not necessary. It is just a vanity.

I had a date with my husband but I needed to go ahead because of more things to do. I decided to ride in a jeepney instead of using two cars for one date.

I was seated beside a sign for disabled persons (Did they know my leg hurt that time?) in a jeepney. I enjoyed the ride even though I felt the pain in my left leg. I saved time, money, and reduced my carbon footprint for not using my car that day.

I love shoes but I love the environment much even more. So I make the shoes last t to get them away from trash by taking them to this shoe repair shop.

This is in Mr. Quickie at SM Clark. If I will not have these shoes repaired, they will all be turned to trash because if I will use them more, they will get totally damaged. It will cost me for the price of one pair of elegant fashionable shoes but I am an eco-warrior. I am for sustainability, not for fashion trending.

Boxes and trash of others can be used in many other ways when you think about the environment.

These are boxes from the stuff that I buy. I do not throw them away. I make sure that I reuse or recycle them.

These are plastic covers of the folders which I found in our data room shelves. I also did not throw them. I kept them to find ways on when and how to use them again.

Most of the materials used for these student passes came from the stuff above. The passes were printed in draft quality to save ink and energy.

I wanted everything about me talked against drugs that day so I decided to recycle and reuse old stuff.

I used the other side of a paper and printed this image in fast mode to save ink. To harden it, I used my favorite soap box.

Then I looked for my old earrings which I seldom used to dangle this killer drugs image. I wore them in our campaign against drugs. I actually kept them for future use.

Pill Boxes become compulsory in some hospitals so I made it also compulsory for myself to keep those plastics away from the trash can by using them in the most authentic way as much as I can.

This was one of the hospital pack when I was hospitalized. It's a medicine organizer or pill box set.

I cannot use this pill box set because I don't have a lot of pills to take so I use them to keep my laptop cool.

I have these pill boxes anywhere I work - from home to school. They keep the air flowing underneath which keeps my laptop, Sussie, cool during long time use.

I save things which are still usable today or in the future. Such practice reduces trash and impact on the environment.

This red bag got damaged in time of use. I saved its inner pocket and red zipper which pictures appear below.

I used the red zipper to replace the zipper of this purse given by my best friend.

I use the inner pocket to keep things in place.

The ability to buy does not mean the right to discard it anytime. I make sure that my eyebrow pencil serves it purpose well before throwing it.

I cannot face the public without eyebrows because I hardly have them. So I make sure that each eyebrow pencil I bought will worth its use until its last size I could handle.

Reusing and repairing to make things last is being good to the environment. I do not tolerate that buy and throw attitude.

I have my own repair/sewing kit to make things last. I segregated used buttons for future use. They came from my old uniforms and clothes which I plan to transform into shopping/grocery bags.

The shorter the hair, the less impact on the environmen - less water, shampoo, conditioner - a wash and wear hairstyle for a public high school teacher like me.

It's my third hair cut for the past three months.

I was telling Ate Esther to stop the blow dry to save energy and reduce impact on the environment. My hair cut need no dryer anyway.

Sorting school stuff reduces cutting of trees and trash. This is my practice every now and then.

I brought out some of the pile of papers on my table and book shelves. I separated those which can still be reused or recycled and those which can be of use to my neighbor.

These are for my neighbor who uses paper to ignite burning wood for cooking instead of buying kerosene.
