America was warned in 1958 about Climate Change; and we have been much of this but many have been skeptical. Why?
On February 12, 1958, the American public saw the first televised warning about the dangers of carbon dioxide, global warming, and sea level rise. That warning came from The Bell Laboratory Science Series, which aired its fourth TV episode, “Unchained Goddess,” written and produced by three-time Oscar winner Frank Capra.
Try to watch their video.

Feeding should not feed the ground with trash.
I and my co-workers in the school canteen use real stuff to feed underweight students. I also have my own personal stuff for my own feeding days. Feeding using disposables is like feeding them to suffer the toxins which disposables will leave for hundreds of years in the environment.

Keep reusing as much as possible, including fasteners. Reusing is saving money and reducing effects of Climate Change.
I have been using these fasteners for many years. They came from folders of outputs submitted by students.

Use both sides of bond papers or any paper before throwing. Let's save trees.
Using the unused side of bond papers and using recycled bond paper are some ways of reducing the cutting of trees.
Newsprint is made from recycled paper. |
These bond papers had their other sides used for printing and photocopying. | They are used again for other copies which does not require single use of paper. |

My Eco-Wisdom Story - Humans! Humans!
HUMANS! HUMANS!
(Readers’
Theater piece, five members)

SEA : I feel hot!
WIND : Me, too!
SOIL : You feel hot? I feel hotter! It’s happening again?
MOON : You feel hot? What about the Sun?
SUN : It’s my power and I cannot help it. I could kill all creatures on Earth if humans
will not stop destroying the ozone layer.
ALL : How can we stop them?
SEA : Oh, No! I have to go! The Wind is blowing me towards the village. Wind, Stop!
WIND : How could I stop! The heat forces me to
blow hard!
SOIL : You are going to drown us all, Sea! Stop!
MOON : I wish I could help. Oh, clouds, cover the sky. I don’t want to
see more deaths anymore. Humans are
crazy. They cause their own deaths!
SUN : Storms are here again, more frequent,
stronger than ever. Storm surge and
tornadoes make them even worse. Humans caused these and they are now reaping
them.
WIND, SEA : (ravaging the village)
HUMANS : (screaming) Help! Help! We’re drowning!
SOIL : Wind, Sea, Stop! You’re killing them!
WIND, SEA : This is beyond our control!
SUN : It happens once again. Humans never learn their lesson. They saw floods before but they never
changed. They continue to waste energy,
throw a lot of garbage and pollute the Sea, the Wind, and the Soil. Mother Nature is perfect. Any disruption will
surely cause destruction.
SOIL : Humans are poisoning me. They throw a lot of plastics and chemicals.
Sometimes I tell myself, they deserve their suffering. Last year, they buried thousands of their
kind in my territory. They cried. They mourn.
After a while, they enjoy. They
enjoy doing the same harmful acts to the environment. They hurt us all.
WIND : (crying) Thousands died again. How long will it take for humans to realize
that they have to reduce the effects of climate change? That they have to restore their denuded
mountains and forests to save themselves and their children’s children?
SEA : (sobbing) I tried to spit them out from my
mouth but nature has its own way. Now
that I’m back, the corpses appear and it seems to be silent at first.
MOON : It is still dark. When the Sun comes out,
we will see the same drama once again.
Humans are humans. Some find
opportunity to be great during calamities. But calamities can be minimized if
only they would make a choice.
ALL : Humans!
Humans! The choice is yours humans! Stop hurting us! Stop hurting the
environment! Stop hurting yourselves!
