Using less tissues reduces killing of forest trees. Using tissues for the vagina is actually not advisable.

This is a common sight in the rest rooms of women, especially when the tissues are free or it has been a habit already. Our vagina is like a vaccum cleaner. It absorbs everything specially when we are on the move.  Imagine the chemicals and fibers getting into your vagina? They can have an effect on your reproductive system.  Less trash, less toxins on ourselves and on this Earth.

America was warned in 1958 about Climate Change; and we have been much of this but many have been skeptical. Why?

On February 12, 1958, the American public saw the first televised warning about the dangers of carbon dioxide, global warming, and sea level rise. That warning came from The Bell Laboratory Science Series, which aired its fourth TV episode, “Unchained Goddess,” written and produced by three-time Oscar winner Frank Capra.
Try to watch their video.

Earthpronouns Cartoon: Earth needs You!

We are all pronouns. We take the place of somobody else whether we like it or not because we are designed to care.

Feeding should not feed the ground with trash.

I and my co-workers in the school canteen use real stuff to feed underweight students.  I also have my own personal stuff for my own feeding days.  Feeding using disposables is like feeding them to suffer the toxins which disposables will leave for hundreds of years in the environment.

Stainless utensils are not advisable because they suddenly disappear.  We use unbreakable plastics instead but with stainless forks and spoons.  Forks and spoons do disappear sometimes but do not cost as much as the bowls and glasses.

Keep reusing as much as possible, including fasteners. Reusing is saving money and reducing effects of Climate Change.

I have been using these fasteners for many years.  They came from folders of outputs submitted by students.
These fasteners are used for filing, grouping papers, sheets, reports. The papers beside the box are survey sheets for my students' research.  Sheets will be grouped according to section using fasteners.  Once done with research, fasteners will be kept again and the sheets will be given to parents who use paper to ignite fire for cooking.

Use both sides of bond papers or any paper before throwing. Let's save trees.

Using the unused side of bond papers and using recycled bond paper are some ways of reducing the cutting of trees.
Newsprint is made from recycled paper.

These bond papers had their other sides used for printing and photocopying.
They are used again for other copies which does not require single use of paper.

Love at First Sight - If only it happens between Earth and Us... It would be more thanHappy Valentine's Day!

Love comes from the most unexepected time and places.  I hope climate change will not catch us off handed... or we will regret the time its effects hit us or our children and children's children.

Reusable bags reduce trash. Less trash, less impact on the environment.

The practice of bringing reusable bags does not come overnight. You can start today until you make it a habit. This is the bag I got from the internet and put my words of inspiration on it.
Make reusable bags as your closest companions especially for women.

Trees are necessities; golf course is a vanity of the rich.

I would like to share with you my first cartoon with my first original humorous characters, Si Meron and Si Wala.

Underwears have a long way to go. Rags need not be bought.

Panties need not be thrown when out of garter. I used them as rags for applying shoe polish.

I used that striped briefs of  my husband like a brush to shine his shoes.

Reuse envelopes; this saves you money, time and the trees.

This is the envelope of the debut party I attended the other night.  I used it yesterday as the envelope to contain the cash I would give to the couple as one of the sponsors of their civil wedding.

A rose is a symbol of love's sweetness which will be gone when we lose our love for nature.

As I smell these real roses in front of me in this debut party, my smile disappeared when I was reminded that millions of plastics are thrown each day in the world. How could my grandchildren appreciate the beauty of God's creation when plastics have already poisoned the soil, water and the air?

Fashion Pro-Creation: Jewelry is not a necessity; less of them, less impact on the environment.

Given by my sister, I have used these earrings several times already and tonight is in a debut formal party.  I don't mind using them over and over again although they are just for parties for as long as they match my clothes and the occasion. I can actually attend parties without them.

My Wipe Shirts and Skirts (in lieu of towels) - Reducing trash reduces the impact of Climate Change and high fashioned living.

This is my closet and you can see my towels a.k.a. wipe shirts and skirts.  I have not been buying towels for many years.  I reuse my old cotton clothes.

Super Trash needs an artist. Please help.

Remembering my campaign to protect the environment

Repairable wooden chairs are far better than the plastic ones.

My students help me to clean our new Remedial Reading Room.  The green chairs here have been under my care since 2007.

This is the latest type of chair in our school.  Most of these do not even last a year.

Leaders need to be trained like warriors.

My application was approved as a Climate Reality Leader trainee at the Climate Reality Leadership Training here in the Philippines on March 14, 15, 16, 2016.  You can be one of us.  Visit this link:

Campaign for the Use of Eco-Bags Summer 2015 at Talipapa Market, Madapdap Resettlement

I had my old clothes and textiles sewn to eco-bags. I did'nt want to throw them for nothing.

I was actually with my best friends here sharing these bags of mine while telling people to stop using plastic bags.

Use Old Magazines to Cover Books - Save Trees, Save Money, Protect the Earth from Plastics

Bring back the days when books were covered with used papers like these.

No need for plastics that destroy the Earth. My son understands that. He studies in public school.

Once damaged, the cover can be replaced with another used papers which are so abundant everywhere.

Don't Throw Your Bra and Shoulder Paddings. Save Money, Save The Environment!

These are my dishwashing pads.  I have not been buying dishwashing pads for many years.

The shoulder pads of my old uniform on a half-a-decade soap holder.  I don't use dishwashing liquid.  It's an additional cost and trash. Washing dishes is more of a strategy than soap factor.

The garbage is all around us.

The law impliedly requires the State and us to be eco-warriors.

My Eco-Wisdom Story - Humans! Humans!

HUMANS! HUMANS!
(Readers’ Theater piece, five members)
Marissa Pare-Castro

SEA                :     I feel hot!

WIND             :     Me, too!

SOIL               :     You feel hot? I feel hotter!  It’s happening again?

MOON            :     You feel hot?  What about the Sun?

SUN               :     It’s my power and I cannot help it.  I could kill all creatures on Earth if humans will not stop destroying the ozone layer.

ALL                 :     How can we stop them?

SEA                :     Oh, No! I have to go!  The Wind is blowing me towards the village.  Wind, Stop!

WIND             :     How could I stop! The heat forces me to blow hard!

SOIL               :     You are going to drown us all, Sea!  Stop!

MOON            :     I wish I could help.  Oh, clouds, cover the sky. I don’t want to see more deaths anymore.  Humans are crazy.  They cause their own deaths!

SUN               :     Storms are here again, more frequent, stronger than ever.  Storm surge and tornadoes make them even worse. Humans caused these and they are now reaping them.

WIND, SEA   :     (ravaging the village)

HUMANS      :     (screaming) Help! Help! We’re drowning!

SOIL               :     Wind, Sea, Stop! You’re killing them!

WIND, SEA   :     This is beyond our control!

SUN               :     It happens once again.  Humans never learn their lesson.  They saw floods before but they never changed.  They continue to waste energy, throw a lot of garbage and pollute the Sea, the Wind, and the Soil.  Mother Nature is perfect. Any disruption will surely cause destruction.

SOIL               :     Humans are poisoning me.  They throw a lot of plastics and chemicals. Sometimes I tell myself, they deserve their suffering.  Last year, they buried thousands of their kind in my territory.  They cried.  They mourn.  After a while, they enjoy.  They enjoy doing the same harmful acts to the environment.  They hurt us all.

WIND             :     (crying) Thousands died again.  How long will it take for humans to realize that they have to reduce the effects of climate change?  That they have to restore their denuded mountains and forests to save themselves and their children’s children?

SEA                :     (sobbing) I tried to spit them out from my mouth but nature has its own way.  Now that I’m back, the corpses appear and it seems to be silent at first.

MOON            :     It is still dark. When the Sun comes out, we will see the same drama once again.  Humans are humans.  Some find opportunity to be great during calamities. But calamities can be minimized if only they would make a choice.

ALL                 :     Humans!  Humans! The choice is yours humans! Stop hurting us! Stop hurting the environment! Stop hurting yourselves!
