My Eco-Wisdom Story - Lizzy and Lazzy

Lizzy and Lazzy

Lizzy and Lazzy are lizards and the best of friends. They go near the light together on the ceiling every night.

“See how they manage their life, Lizzy. They are just pushing buttons and touching screens.”, says Lazzy.

“Look at the little girl. She’s using her laptop with her older brothers and sister altogether in this room.”, comments Lizzy.

“Lizzy! Lazzy!”, shout a group of lizards.

“Why are you all rushing here?”, ask the best of friends to the lizards.

“All the lights are turned off except here.”, reply the lizards.

“What are they trying to do?”, asks Lizzy.

Suddenly, the father says, “It’s break time. Your mother has prepared snacks for all of us. We are saving electricity; and the more we save electricity, the more we get together. So, we should have a good time working together, shouldn’t we?”

“Yes, Father. My teacher in Science said that when we save electricity, we are also saving the environment. The lesser electricity we use, the lesser the pollution from the sources of electric energy.”, says the little girl. Then all her older brothers and sister clap their hands for her.

“Oh, no! We should learn how to look for other sources of food.”, says Lazzy.

“We don’t have to go, Lazzy. I am happy to see this family spending their time together as they help save the environment. Remember, we will always be a part of the environment where they live. If they are saving the environment, they are also saving us and our next generation.”, says Lizzy.

From then on, all the lizards join Lizzy and Lazzy together as they share their moments with the happy and wise family below them.
